Mara Ellison is a SAG-AFTRA actor based in Brooklyn, working in film, television, theatre and commercials. She trained in New York, came up through Off-Off-Broadway and regional stages, and now splits her time between New York and Atlanta sets.

She is drawn to complicated people, quiet stakes and the moment a character lets the truth slip. Recent work includes a guest-star arc on the streaming drama Harbor Line and the lead in Iris Vale’s feature Glass Mouth. Off set, she is usually at a repertory cinema or taking the long way home.
